Bangor Masonic Hall
The foundation stone of Bangor Masonic Hall was laid on the 5th of August 1882. The tender for the building of the Hall was awarded to McLaughlin and Harvey who provided a quotation of 1086 for the full extent of all work. The Hall was formally opened twelve months later after the Brethren walked in procession from Bangor Castle. After the ceremony some 350 guests were entertained to lunch in a marquee in the Castle Grounds.
